Most of you guys knew my Mother, I know, because I used to sit beside a lot of the times on the board.
She was banned for no reason, and I have all the proof, and as her son, what else am I supposed to do?
My mother begged jafo and Island Dog to not ban her for no reason, and their reply was to further ban her to Exile, and remove all of her hard work from all of your galleries.
PM's, and Emails were sent to Island Dog, reguarding my mums subsequent, nervous breakdown, to chich he made fun of, she later suffered a minor stroke.
I informed of this, and his reply was to block my email.
My mother died today, as a direct result of island Dog and possibly, people not taking a stand, I am her son Philip, and I thought you should all know, if you even care.
I have all the saved messages my mother kept, and I am ashamed at the taking of a life, friends, a Community she loved so much, that obviously isn't, or wasn't worth shit.
I read all of the PM's, the ones that put tears in my own eye's, were the ones she sent to Spencer Scott, pleading and begging him not to take away her friends, her life...
I hope you fucking suffer the rest of your days, Spencer Scott.
Now this messaged will be going to every fucking board, Software site, and anywhere else I can find the name Stardock, and you people should be fucking ashamed, and let me guess, me saying that will justify your guilt over my mums death.
DONNAH - I use Vista 32-bit , so my Dreams are made in 32bit - so I guess (not really sure though) that might be the problem - haven't had anyone else mention this as a problem though .... you could try looking though my Screen Saver Gallery - some of my Dreams were posted as screen savers too - check my personal galleries for stuff not posted on main site ......... Is there a program for vista ultimate that is easy and you can make normal pictures have water and weather effects and are an active wallpaper not a screensaver? I tried the dream creator but they want a video file. I tried to create it but it won't let me.

OK, I'll check out those sites you mentioned, and thanks for the tip about WC liking design over artsy. I used to own a jewelry company and did the designing. You may have seen some of my stuff at MetroCenter or K-Mart. Of course, GOOD is in the eye of the beholder, but this may all be moot for awhile, because suddenly I can't get LogonStudio to stop crashing! Can't upload anything........
Hi, it's me again! Yes, Linda is the given, but I usually go by Mouse online. I'm surprised you had trouble on my site. I've noticed that it doesn't load properly in the IE 8 Beta, but I've not had any problem with FF 3. I'll have to check that out. I'll Google those programs you mentioned. I've been doing the logons at 1024 x 768. I try to center the screens so the icon and writing are in a spot that doesn't interfere with the design, not always possible, though......
Have you had the experience of making a logon or whatever and thinking it's not as good as you'd like, but it's accepted anyway, and then you do one that you think is just great and it's rejected? I don't really get what it is they're looking for, do you? And I don't think I've pissed anyone off, but you never know.........LOL!
Hi from one Arizonan to another! I'm over in Glendale. Been looking at all your work, I can't believe the amount you do! I only just started playing around making some Vista Logon screens a couple months ago. I spend so much time on each one, I could never make as many as you do! And then, I have to stop for a while after I have three or four in a row rejected! I was wondering what graphics programs you use? I run PSP with a ton of plug-ins. Still can't always get the effect I'm going for though. Any suggestions would be appreciated! Free one's would be good, but I don't think I could figure out how to use GIMP! :)

Advice to Czar : just take time to explore the programs and get familiar with them , know what they can do. Go through the Galleries and check out what's hot and not ,most people here will share advice to you . Once ready to start your own gallery you will need some design programs (many free ones out there)practice make perfect ,it will take some time to master - Once ready to upload stuff , don't fear rejection (WC mod's are pickie ) I have more stuff rejected than excepted - so just keep trying (don't give up).
Best to just pick and master one thing at a time ,instead of all over the place- do some screenshots to get started and meet the family there- all good people - but when ready jump right in and start your own gallery - it's taken me about 3 years to get to this point (can go faster if ya don't piss any one off in the mean time -ha ha )i did ..... anyway good luck - and seek advise anytime you think you need it ......Az ( mesa,az )

I've been going through the tutorials for the programs I just purchased in Object Desktop, and I see that I have a lot to learn. I look at it this way, what better time to learn than now! Yo AzDude, I did the dreams you've created. Very cool man. You ever think of do anything with a medival knight type theme? Possibly a King Arthur theme. Maybe Excalibur in the stone, with some mist covering the ground, possibly Merlin standing off to the side with Arthur getting ready to pull the sword. Just an idea.

I have bootskin installed on with XP. So I did add 5 or 6 skins of my chosse and they work. But now I'm trying to add more and just can't seem to get Bottslin to accept them. L get a screen saying
There was an error importing the skin file. Possible causes are a corrupt file, or a read-only skin. I've used open DL file with Bootskin & impost skin from file in Bootskin.
One thing I noticed the ones that work the pic file extention is .bmp the ones that don't the pic file is .bootskin.
I can't figure out why this worked before and won't now. Any ideas??? Thanxx for your help.

Zubaz tried one and he had problems also. Like must things it will take folks using the function and finding the bugs. Apparently DX widgets don't get picked up. He is posting his problems in the Object Desktop 2009 post I believe. Between you and me I don't think it should take the place of screenshots, just my personal opinion. I do like the idea though to make it easier either for the skinner or a community member to go out and grab all the items made for a Theme (no matter who makes them) and pull them all together for a Suite. Lots of nice Themes have been created and are in the Gallery Library but not pulled all together in one place. Unless you go specificly looking for them you just never know they are there. ;)

I'm interested in seeing the suite you put together and hearing your thoughts. I'm not all the sure, posting a ScreenShot to the Gallery Library with links to what you use is pretty easy. It always was interesting that even under the old Theme Manager not very many skinners put together thier own stuff into a suite.

sylargray - the best way to learn about stuff here is to go through the forum - there is a tutorials section that explains allot of this - the different parts - then if you have the programs to try something , not sure what part you want to learn ? and then have a problem - just make a post and whoever can help , will - you can look through the galleries to see what is acceptable work and you will need some skills - so if you have a question let me know and i'll try to give you an answer or where to go for the right answer ....... as far as downloading the screensaver - if your not sure where it is, then just DL again and this time look to where it's being saved - which folder - or make a special folder for these - so you know where they are - when unzipping the ,exe file you will have the option to install the SS or just open - and the icon(s) will allow you a guick - click'n play option - just put on DT and play when you want - let me know how you do . thanks .. dude just down loaded all your walls I put them together w/Tigs omni wall changer at 1min. intervals and BAMM what a mind trip. Its better then a screen saver The none ratings or lack of comments is wrong so Im saying it all here 5 stars dude your are a true artisan thanx for the walls.

My question was about chrome in Maya 8. I was quite suprised to find that jumping over to my older copy of Swift3D worked perfect. Nevertheless, if you know how to make chrome in Maya, I'd love some help.
